Heard about terrible two? My daughter just enter her two years of life and I find that she is becoming more and more demanding!! Whenever she is at home with us she will ask for anything that she want, if we didn't give her she will start crying and shouting!! She always like to pull us to somewhere that she want to be and if we didn't follow her she will also make noise of that!! She refused to let us feed her but she will mess up the whole place including herself as she likes to feed herself!! Is this what people called terrible two???

Yes. mine sama sama. so much more naughtier than b4.
but i try not to give in. neither do i shout back when she is shouting (when i am still sane). i tell her in a stern voice that i do not like her to shout and she will not get what she wants until she says it nicely.
When i am boiling mad, i lost control and go into a shouting match with her. shame mama.

Oh really? I thought my daugher is born with a naughty character as compared with some other children!! My hubby's nephew is born on the same day with my daugher, same year, same month, same day.. the only difference is one is a boy and the other is a girl but the boy is so much obedient than the girl!!! Is it true that nowadays girls are naughtier than boys as compared to older days?? I have come across many examples like boys are very quiet and shy but the girls are so active (like mine) that can't even sit still for a minute!!!

it seems like nowadays, girls are rougher than boys! i am quite active in another parenting forum and from the sharing between the mommies (and daddies), we conclude that times have changed. Most girls are more "garang" than boys. And the nurse who works in jaimie's PD's clinic made the same comment!! she too thinks that boys are getting softer now while the girls are getting more active. I hope they dont make the girls serve NS instead in the future!!!! hohoho~~~

whenever we bring her out either to the playground or some other places, the moment she step out of the house she is like a "tiger being released!!" she don't follow where we go, we walk to the east she will walk to the west!! She don't allow us to hold her hands, even if we hold her hands she will try to pull you by half drag and half run... she can't walk properly like normal people do!! Headaches arh!!!

Oh really? Looks like both of them can shake hands liao.. haha.. The furniture shop you mentioned is it at IMM? Yesterday we also been to IMM but we did not shop at the furniture area, we were at the outdoor playground, our girl enjoyed herself playing with the waters... We were there early in the morning and left before lunch time

Hey we were at IMM yesterday morning too and we also went to the playground, around 11+am! Jaimie played mostly at the regular playground and not at the splash area, though. We then went to IMM v.hive and then to have lunch at the Bagus foodcourt next to the playground.
Cos the IMM branch was very small we didn't find the stuff we were looking for. So, after her PM nap, we went to the Megastore branch which is at Yuan Ho Road, near Tang Dynasty there.
Hmmm...we might have bumped into each other without realising it. haha.

OIC.. we were there very early, around 9+am after Eunice (My daughter's name) woke up, although we stayed very near IMM (at Toh Guan) but we need to go early to have our car parked there as weekends always FULL very early!! Then around 11am we left the playground and went to Giant to buy something, so by the time when we left IMM was almost 12pm liao

We have been staying at Jurong East (Toh Guan) for 10 years, our usual hang out places are IMM, Jurong Entertainment Centre (Central), Jurong Point, West mall... We are not familiar at Pt Panjang although we went to the shopping centre there dunno once or twice many many year ago

Bt Panjang Plaza (BPP) has become quite 'happening' in recent years leh. Got celebrity appearances, autograph sessions, live shows etc. Last month Jaimie attended the "Alvin & The Chipmunks" and also the "Pokemon Christmas" live shows there!
The places you mentioned are also among our frequent haunts, especially IMM and West Mall. We'd surely visit Jurong Point and Jurong Central more often from next month onwards when we move over...
