My daughter is still wearing diapers at the age of 2, we tried to let her go diapers free at home and asked her to use the potty whenever she is passing urine but she refused to do that, so most of the time she will wet herself as well as the floor, end up got to clear the mess, after some time we gave up and put on her diapers again!! when is the right time for toilet train? Am I too early or too anxious?

hi workingmummy! thks for joining and posting here. we hv yet to start our 20 month old daughter on any forms of toilet training besides the occasional putting her on her potty and cajoling her to do her business. Sometimes work, sometimes don't. I wd think toilet training between 2-3 years would be about right. So, press on! I'm sure the results will come once the child is ready to take that next step forward.

Mayday, thanks for your advise. We had tried many many times by putting her on the potty since months ago but never succeed!! She rather play with the potty than using it to do her business!! And the most angry part was a few times when she is trying to do her business but she refused to do it on the potty, she will squat down on the floor just beside the potty and we had to clean up for what she had done!!! Maybe she is not ready yet....

jaimie can say a lot of things but she doesnt tell when she wants to pee or poo most of the time. the times she tells me, i can go and buy 4D. hahaha!!!

Sama sama ;D Oh my god! How much we actually spend on the diapers?? and think we still have to spend at least one or two more years for that before she really know where to go when she want to pee or poo

You may have to let training go for a few days during the process to give everyone a breather. During that time, happily help your child clean up her accidents (and help she must to the degree she is able) and casually – but repeatedly – remind her that being potty trained is more convenient for her than cleaning up potty accidents and i have found some outstanding just recommended for you and the link is www.pottytrainingapp.com
