My DW and I are thinking of going for a second adoption towards the end of this year. Our Jaimie would then be a year and a half. Actually, we have had this idea of having two adoptive children right from the beginning when we decided to adopt. A single child would be (1) to lonely and (2) too spoilt, we thought. The HSR that we done for Jaimie in May-Jun last year is good for only a year, so we'd have to do another one. The good news is that you can do a 'renewal' of sort before your HSD expires, and the process is supposedly simpler and shorter. That is why we are looking at approaching the MCYS again pretty soon. Any of you up for seconds too?

HappyMaMa, I fully agree with you that one is already quite a handful!!! But one is a bit too lonely for her, so I still "hope" to have a second one....

Yes.. one is quite lonely. We were quite certain we wanted a second child earlier but as Jaimie grows up, we started to wonder will we be able to love the second one as much as we love her... and what are the pros and cons of having a second child...and when we started to do the paper work for the second adoption, things didnt turn out very smoothly and we took it as a sign for us to stop the process. but nonetheless, i am very supportive of having more children!!! it is just us who cannot manage.

Don't worry, you are not alone in this issue as we are also in the same position!! We may end up with only one child although we really like to have more children
