Any idea where can I find some nice and comfortable hat for young children?? We have been trying to find a hat for Eunice over the last 2 years but just couldn't get a suitable one.. we only been to kiddy palace, tom & stefanie to search for it but not even one that Eunice fancy she will took it out immediately we put on for her and she will say "throw"!!! and she really throw the hat far far away!!! Since baby she already don't like to put on a hat or anything onto her head like hair band, (we managed to put on a hat or hair band for her during her first 5 months, after that she will pull it out) as her hair was growing very slow so I prefer to dress her up by putting on a hat or hair band to make her more "girl" otherwise she will be no difference from a boy I really don't understand why she refused to put on a hat, maybe is due to the material not soft enough??? that making her feel ichy or sweat??? I always see other young children wearing a hat looks so sweet, especially for girls like Eunice's hair growing so slow, it does help a lot to dress up

Hello! Hmmm....what we do is we'd convince Jaimie that wearing nice-looking hats would make her "pretty" or "mei-mei". Got to really show it to her by clapping hands, wow-ing and wah-ing when she has the hat on, so she'd be willing to keep it on, for the sake of vanity! In any case, I seriously don't think Eunice hair can possibly grow any slower than our Jaimie's. Now at 21 months old, we still hv yet to send her for any haircuts and she still has a hairdo exactly like a boys! No joke...9 out of 10 will think she is a boy. Even when she is dressed in full bright red! Don't believe? See here --> kinigu.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-old-is-he.html

Yo! I thought I saw my Eunice's face on your blog! Haha! Seriously! Few months ago or half a year ago her hair was exactly the same like Jaimie... hmmm... we did shaved her once and trimmed her twice... and I believe it helps to grow a bit faster by shaving/cutting... that was only after she turned 1 year old as before that we also dared not touch her "hair" as we afraid of the more we cut the hair won't grow!! although now her hair is growing but still consider very slow and doesn't look like girl unless we dress her up!! Btw how to upload a photo here? I was thinking of putting up Eunice's botak head photo half a year ago and now her hair has slightly grown's photo.. heehee Ok back to the topic... yes we did tell her to put on the hat will be "mei mei" and she only interested to wear nice clothing or nice shoes by shouting "mei mei" except hats!!

Hi just to share, my girl also behave more like a boy and besides her hair growing slow that make her outlook even more boyish... After reading your blog and I conclude that we also facing the same situation / problems - people always mistook "her" is "he" Some time ago, when she is still a small little "botak" we dressed her up by wearing a pink colour dress and put on a hair band for her still got ppl asking is "she" a boy or girl???!!! In their mind they were wondering how come this "boy" is wearing a dress???
